Fingerprinting Technology

Know what is really on the other end of the connection.

We build and tune device and browser fingerprinting that separates real customers from bots, emulators and repeat offenders — without leaning on cookies or personal data.

    Overview

One trait says little. Hundreds of them, combined, say a lot.

Every client leaks small, stable traits: how it renders a canvas, which fonts and codecs it reports, how its TLS handshake is ordered, how fast a person moves the pointer. On their own they are noise. Combined and weighed correctly they form an identifier that survives cleared cookies, private windows and rotating IPs.

We design that combination for your traffic. That means choosing signals that are stable for your real users, catching the inconsistencies automation frameworks leave behind, and keeping the system explainable so your fraud and security teams can trust its verdicts.

    01 — Capabilities

    Fingerprinting Technology

    • Browser & device signals

Canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, media devices and hardware hints, collected by a light script that does not slow down your pages.

    • Network fingerprints

TLS (JA3/JA4), HTTP/2 settings and header ordering checked server-side, where spoofing is much harder.

    • Automation detection

Headless browsers, emulators, anti-detect browsers and instrumentation frameworks identified by the contradictions they introduce.

    • Behavioural signals

Pointer, keyboard and timing patterns scored to tell people from scripts at login, signup and checkout.

    • Risk scoring & rules

Signals fused into a single, explainable score with rules your team can read, change and audit.

    • Resilience testing

We attack your existing fingerprinting the way a determined adversary would, and report what got through.

    02 — Process

    From first signal to production

A short, measured path — we prove accuracy on your own traffic before anything blocks a real customer.

    1. 01

      Baseline

Shadow-mode collection on your traffic to learn what normal looks like for your users.

    2. 02

      Model

Select stable signals, weigh them, and measure collision and drift rates.

    3. 03

      Integrate

Wire scores into login, signup, payments or your WAF, starting with flag-only.

    4. 04

      Operate

Monitor drift as browsers update and adversaries adapt, and retune on schedule.

    03 — Use cases

    Where it earns its keep

    • 01

      Account takeover

Spot logins from devices a customer has never used, even with the right password.

    • 02

      Multi-accounting & promo abuse

Link accounts created from the same device, however many emails are used.

    • 03

      Payment fraud

Add device reputation to checkout decisions and cut chargebacks.

    • 04

      Bot & scraper control

Throttle automated traffic precisely instead of blocking whole IP ranges.

    04 — FAQ

    Common questions

    Is fingerprinting compatible with GDPR?

It can be, when it is used for security and fraud prevention, documented in your privacy notice and kept proportionate. We design with data minimisation in mind and help you document the legitimate interest.

Do you replace our existing fraud tool?

Usually not. Most clients feed our signals into the tools they already run, or use our testing to find out where their current vendor is blind.

How do you handle browser updates?

Signals are versioned and monitored for drift. When a browser release changes a trait, we see the shift and adjust weights before accuracy drops.

Find out what your current defences miss.

Start with a resilience test of your existing bot and fraud controls. You get a written report and a clear list of fixes.
